Getting ready for Christmas #2: Glitter overload!

For day 2 of my Getting ready for Christmas challenge, I decided to go all out and make a mish mash manicure featuring a couple of glitter polishes :) The manicure itself doesn’t look really Christmas-y, I know, but to compensate that, I arranged a Christmas-looking background XD Anyway, glitters are always festive, no matter how you style them, right? :P So, the nail polishes I used are the following: NYC ‘Pink princess‘, Essie ‘Luxedo‘, Pupa ‘800‘, H&M ‘Flamingo pink‘ and Essence ‘Make it golden‘. And now….it’s your turn! Show me you glittah!!!! _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Per il secondo giorno della challenge ho deciso di creare una manicure un po’ particolare, mixando…

Essie ‘Bahama mama’ & Deborah Lippmann ‘Razzle dazzle’

I went back to shorties, and to celebrate I chose to wear two of my all-time favourite nail polishes: Essie ‘Bahama mama‘ and Deborah Lippmann ‘Razzle dazzle‘ :) Don’t they look mesmerizing together?? ‘Bahama mama‘ is just the perfect base for this glitter, and I feel so glamorous with this combo on my nails ;) Btw, let me know what you think of the new layout and the ‘new’ nail shape as well, of course! Have an amazing weekend my dears!

Oldie but goodie: Essie "Mint candy apple"

Probably one of the most famous and loved polishes out there, “Mint candy apple” is an evergreen, it will never go out of fashion. It’s no secret that I’m a mint-lover, and I felt that today was the perfect day to wear this gorgeous shade again :) And I decided to pair it with a very pretty Kiko nail polish, just to spice the whole manicure up a bit! Hope you like it ;) “Mint candy apple” è con tutta probabilità uno degli smalti più famosi e amati dalla blogosfera, e penso sia uno di quei colori che non passerà mai di moda. Non è un segreto il mio amore…

    Essie "Bahama mama"

Well, apparently the world didn’t end today (*happy me*), and that means that I actually have to study for my exams and go out and get a few Christmas presents ç__ç  Anyway, a good way to celebrate this not-end-of-the-world is to show you a nail polish that got very easily into my top favourites-list of all times: Essie “Bahama mama”. I bought it during my trip to Germany a couple of months ago and I already feel that I need a back-up! It’s just the most perfect berry-red shade you’ll ever see, I can’t get over how much I love it

Essie "Luxedo" + essence "The huntsman"

Good morning! Today I show you one of the polishes I bought during my trip to Germany: Essie “Luxedo“, which is a gorgeous very dark plummy colour, that looks almost black irl. This was of course the perfect canvas for some glitters, so I picked my beloved essence topper called “The huntsman“, a very beautiful mix of different sized gold glitters plus some big chunks. I absolutely adore this combo, it looks kind of glamourous but vampy at the same time :D Buondì! Oggi vi mostro finalmente uno dei miei primi acquisti fatti durante il mio viaggio in Germania, ossia Essie “Luxedo“, un bellissimo color viola scuro, che appare quasi…

Essie spring collection + Beautybay review

Here I am again with some pretties to show you :) I received the Essie mini spring collection I ordered on Beautybay.com a couple of days ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the colours!  I first want to spend a few words on this online shop: it’s an english one, so I don’t have to worry about customs or anything; they have free worldwide delivery, and that’s definetly a big plus; their prices are higher than the american ones, but that’s obvious; they have the mini-sized bottle collections, which I prefer over the single big ones (except for O.P.I., I will never pay more than 16€ for four 3.5ml bottles!).  They…
