    July top 5 products

Orly ‘Purple Poodle’ & Layla ‘201’

[ENG] Before I actually write a review about the Surreal collection by Orly (which will be part of a collaboration I’m very excited about, so stay tuned!), I want to show you one more combo in which I used another one of the polishes I was very impressed with, ‘Purple Poodle‘*. Do you see how incredibly gorgeous this is layered over my beloved aubergine polish by Layla? Well, be prepared, because it looks maybe even more beautiful on its own! But you’ll have to wait for that, but it’s coming, I promise! :D [ITA] Prima di scrivervi una vera e propria recensione della collezione Surreal di Orly (che, tra l’altro,…

    Pink degradé (picture heavy!)

We all know that pink isn’t an easy colour to wear on your nails, even if it’s probably the most popular along with red, but it’s spring, and during this season I happily jump on the bright-colours-bandwagon! So I pulled out my favourite pink nail polishes, and because I couldn’t choose just one, I decided to put them all on :D And so was my pink-degradé manicure born! Do you like it? I know that I love it!  P.S. Sorry for the pictures overload, but I wanted to share them all :) And all the polishes used are listed in the picture below! Si sa che il rosa non è…

    Layla "201"

If you were wondering why I didn’t post for the last couple of weeks, here is finally the answer: I’ve been to Germany! Me and my mother went to visit some relatives and friends, and I had the chance to do some great shopping of course :D  Anyway, I’ll soon start posting regularly again, but for today I have a varnish to show you which was featured in my last tag post. This is Layla “201“, my go to dark plummy vampy colour, which makes me always feel a bit sexier when I have it on (quite weird, huh?) and definetly one of my all time favourite autumn/winter nail polishes.…

    "Killing red"

Hello there and sorry for the lack of posting, but lately I’m experimenting more and more with makeup, and I didn’t do anything special with my nails :/ Anyway, today I show you another great flakie polish, and it’s the Layla “Killing red” polish. I have already shown you “The butterfly effect“, and this time I decided to use the polish on its own, without any base colour. These polishes have a really pigmented base in fact, so it wasn’t difficult at all reaching opacity, it just needed two coats. I’m very very happy with the result, even if the flakies don’t show up that much, but you can still…

    My first flakies!

I’m a happy girl, and you know why? Because I finally own some flakies!!!Yes, and that’s because Layla decided to create some in collaboration with this italian beauty blog, Trendy Nail. The collection consist of five different glitters, but I just got the two flakies (this one and the red version). Many girl said this one to be pretty close to the Nfu.oh n.51…they actually look similar, but I think that the Nfu.oh flakies still have something more. Anyway, I’m in love with this polish, and I keep staring at my nails every two seconds XDI layered “The Butterfly Effect” over a purple base, which is n.293 from Kiko, just because I…

    Bubble gum pink

Look! Everything is so pink here, what happened? :DYap, I changed my layout, and I love it! It’s pink! And to celebrate this big change, I show you a beautiful pink polish I bought yesterday, from Layla, and it’s number 21. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it, but I didn’t buy it because I thought it was a little too expensive (5,95€), but I couldn’t resist very long. Actually, these polishes are sold on Layla’s online shop (here) for 7,60€, so I don’t have much to complain about.I would describe it as a true bubble gum pink (in reality it’s a bit more dark than…
